What is PSHRA Southern Colorado?

PSHRA Chapter Southern Colorado was established in 2002 as a chapter of the IPMA-HR which is now known as the Public Sector HR Association (PSHRA).  Our goal as a chapter is to further the mission of the PSHRA at a local and regional level.  The Southern Colorado Chapter provides a forum for HR professionals to network and provides them a resource for skill development and continuing education. We encourage and facilitate a cooperative relationship between public and private employers within the chapter on HR issues.

    It's a new day for SCIPMA-HR as our chapter transitions along with IPMA-HR. For those who haven't heard,  IPMA-HR is now the Public Sector HR Association (PSHRA) and our local chapter will be called Public Sector HR Association Chapter Southern Colorado (PSHRA-SoCo)  The mission remains the same, empowering public sector HR professionals to create better places to work for those who serve the public good.  While our name and logo may be changing at the local level, myself and the other Board members remain committed to providing our local HR community a place for networking, education, and hopefully a little fun!  If you would like to learn more about PSHRA and the changes taking place at the national level you can visit www.pshra.org to learn more.
